About personal care

Support workers can prompt and assist with medication but cannot prescribe or administer medications that require clinical judgement. If your plan needs a nurse, we'll tell you.
Yes. We source active-night and sleepover workers. Specify the hours in your referral and we'll match for someone who does those shifts.
Yes, and we always respect that preference. Flag it in your referral, it's the first filter we apply.
Typically 5–7 business days from referral to first shift, including meet & greet. Urgent cases can be faster.

What to expect

No two shifts are the same, but here's the rhythm most of our workers follow.

Arrive on time, dressed for the activity. Punctuality is a basic, and it's something we screen for.
Check in with the participant first. A proper hello, a read of the mood, a brief chat about how the day is going.
Follow the agreed plan. Routines and rosters matter. Workers stick to what's been agreed unless the participant wants to change.
Keep clear notes. Every shift ends with a quick log, what was done, anything worth flagging, any ideas for next time.
Wrap up properly. Hand over cleanly, confirm the next shift, say goodbye. Professional but warm.
